If your dress is just sitting in your closet taking up space that could be used for some of those awesome dresses you just purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue, whats better then getting one more stunning and over the top fun, fashion forward trash the dress session out of it? That’s what my 2012 Bride Sara did with hers. She called me up and said, “Nicole! I need to get rid of this dress! It’s taking up precious clothing space! Let’s do a trash the dress!” Originally we planned to do something that involved all her favorite foods, but because we were going to Baker Beach in San Francisco she  didn’t want the seagull’s thinking it was a free for all chow down fest and attacking her. So we nixed that Idea and decided to use the beauty around us.  As well as  some awesome colored corn starch. Here is one of the images we got from the set. Talk about a stunner!
The weather couldn’t have been better for the day of Sarah and Adam’s engagement. As wishy washy as it has been, it’s finally getting better and on this day it happened to be perfect! We started at the Palace of Fine Arts and moved over to Baker Beach, both in San Francisco.
This is why I love this city. You come across some of the most random things. While at the palace we saw this guy making huge bubbles! So I thought it would be cute to waltz my way over and ask him to join in our shoot and incorporate the bubbles! It was super fun and added lots of cuteness to their session.
I love when my couples go the extra mile to get an awesome shot. Even if It’s freezing!
Georgia and Colin wanted to have a super-relaxed and very natural engagement session. We went to the Botanical Gardens in San Francisco. I have never been there before and was amazed at how huge the place is… and gorgeous! They wanted their engagement photos really natural with very little posing. Just really organic.  I’m a lifestyle photographer, so I document what’s happening as well as set up natural looking poses. When it comes to portrait time, I like to step in and create a visually appealing scene.  I set something up, let you get comfortable with it and make it your own, then step back snap a few shots. When we got to Baker Beach, Georgia and Colin got into their groove and wanted to just play and have fun. I captured their moment and suggested a few things as they went along to get some good looking photos. Mission accomplished! We got some amazing shots that are truly them!
