Janice and Richard have been planing their wedding from miles apart. Across the country from each other to be exact. Now that takes dedication! Richard had a few days to come to the west coast so we took the opportunity to do their engagement session. They picked the Wilder Ranch in Santa Cruz which was absolutely adorable! A cute little farm with goats that I got to pet! The littlest things excite me =)
This wall was amazing. I loved the texture to itThis is one of my faves of the whole bunchLove it!!
Tiffany and Jeremy chose to do their engagement shoot at Fort Cronkhite in Marin County. It was where Jeremy had asked Tiffany to marry him. the weather turned out to be lovely. They were very relaxed in front of my camera which made the shoot easy and fun. Â Jeremy’s son came along for the ride and I got to capture a few family shots at the end. They are so cute =)
I had the privilege to attend and photograph Nolan’s first birthday where his Dol was being celebrated. In Korean tradition it is customary to celebrate a Dol on a child’s first birthday. A table was set in front of Nolan with several objects placed in front of him. The first object he chooses is said to predict his future and what his life holds for him. Nolan chose the rice which represents a long life. The party was Beautiful! Lucy, Nolan’s mother set up and made everything you see! She did a fabulous job! And that cake! it was absolutely perfect! They are a gorgeous family and are blessed with beautiful children. Happy Birthday Nolan!
Marie and Jason picked out this cute little park in Palo Alto to have their engagement. The flowers were in bloom and everything looked so pretty. Â I’m excited to shoot their wedding in two weeks! It’s coming up so fast!!

It’s been one year from the day that I said “i do” to you and almost ten years from the day that I first laid my eyes on you. And when I say laid my eyes on you I seriously couldn’t take them away. I remember that immediate attraction to you and how you came out of your job just to meet me even though I was with my mom. I love how you called me three times before I would even call you back. I wasn’t ignoring you I promise! I was busy! =) Your persistence in your friendship and your love for me has not faded in the slightest. Â You have never failed to let me know that I am the one you love. I have never had to guess weather or not you wanted to be with me. You have always made your love for me and your want for me as obvious as the the sun in the sky. Â I love our life together. I feel like I’m the girl who has it all. And you are every reason for that feeling. I love the fact that you push me to follow my dreams. You are my biggest fan in everything I do and support me with every decision I make. Â You push me when I feel like I can’t do it. You believe in me more then I believe in myself sometimes. When I’m mad you sit back and let the clouds roll on by. I have been able to turn to you when I had some of my darkest days and have had you in my life during some of the best days I have ever had. Being able to share all these moments in my life with you is amazing! I love building our dreams together. I love how you cuddle with me. I love how I can talk to you about everything and be completely comfortable when we say nothing at all. I love how you look into my eyes. I love how you come and dance with me in the kitchen while dinner is cooking for no reason at all. Just to dance with me, that’s your reason. I love how you tell me you love me a million times a day. I love our adventures and our lazy days at home. Â I love being the person you can trust with your life.
Thank you for being my best friend. Thank you for being an amazing husband and thank you for being the best business parter a person can have!
I love you so very much . Â Happy One year anniversary baby!
Taylor - Awesome collection of shots!!! I love the locations, especially the tree looking fort with all the branches! Are those shots all with natural light? Or are you using an off camera flash! They rock!
Nicole Blumberg - Thanks Taylor! We use a mix of natural light and off camera flash on our shoots and this one was with an off camera flash to the right =)
